Eres un piloto del Ala 12 en misión OTAN destacado en el Cáucaso para realizar funciones de policía aérea.
Te han destinado a la base de Batumi, en Georgia. La situación, en general, es de tensión por los últimos movimientos de las fuerzas rusas para imponer su control en la zona.
Si bien no ha habido incursiones terrestres, los aviones rusos suelen entrar en espacio aéreo de Georgia para controlar los movimientos de nuestras unidades de paz.
Hoy debes hacer una patrulla aérea en la zona asignada y seguir las órdenes del control de misión.

This is rather unusual, as the base was used more by French and other allied forces than by US units. This is the second operation in the British East Fleet's "Oil War" on Japan. The USS Saratoga was ordered home for a refit. On its way to the Pacific, Saratoga was tasked with again joining HMS Illustrious in Operation Transom for a raid on the Japanese oil refinery at Surabaya, Java, Dutch East Indies. The only difference in the lineup from the Operation Cockpit mission was that Illustrious traded its Barracuda bombers for more capable US-built TBF Avenger bombers. Otherwise, the strike force was identical to Operation Cockpit.

The first attackers destroyed 12 Japanese fighters before they could take off from the Surabaya . They also demolished the oil refinery.

You are the leader of the second wave, all Corsairs armed with bombs and rockets, going after the Japanese shipping in the Surabaya Harbor.

With Japan’s Adoption of the F-4EJ in 1968, the Aircraft would become a mainstay of the island-nation’s defense strategy for years until the procurement of the F-15J and F-2A, rapidly moving the airframe from a front-role fighter to a mixed-use fighter-bomber, and reconnaissance aircraft.

Following the opening of the portal in Tokyo in 2016, the Japanese Self Defense Force would establish a long-term operational presence on the other side of the ‘Gate’. Using the older Cold-War era F-4 Phantoms, the JSDF Force on the other side was able to quickly establish air dominance in the region against the inferior indigenous airborne forces. The Phantoms assigned to the Region found some notoriety during an operation to slay a Flame-Dragon that had been harassing JSDF Forces in the region, as well as precision strikes against ‘Imperial’ forces in the region.

The Aircraft were abandoned in the Special Region following the evacuation of JSDF Personnel and closing of the Gate in 2017.
